Do I See Myself as an Investor in the Future?
Yes.
A couple months ago I invested $2,000 and I don't plan on taking it out for a while. I haven't quite decided how active my portfolio is going to be over the next 5-10 years, but I may depend on my investments to pay for college. In this time frame, I hope to eventually have upwards of $40,000. To do this, I need to make significant returns, but nothing out of this world. I will probably invest in moderate risk stocks, and reinvest the money I make to grow my portfolio. When I get out of college and get everything paid off, I will probably continue my portfolio, but will also invest most of my income in a lower risk, lower maintenence mutual fund or 401 K.
